Original Penguin is present in the U.S., Canada, Europe and South America with over 1,250 points of sale, more than 61 Original Penguin stores worldwide.

BMI Wholesale Trading Private Limited and its Group of Companies (BMI) have been responsible for the launch of Gucci, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, French Connection, T.M.Lewin and Original Penguin businesses in India. Within a span of 8 years, BMI has opened over 700 points of sales across 53 Indian cities. In 2004, Vijay Murjani, the Managing Director, spearheaded the launch of Tommy Hilfiger, which became the most successful premium lifestyle designer brand in the country. This was closely followed with the launch of Gucci in 2007. The next steps were to secure long term exclusive relationships with Calvin Klein, French Connection, T.M.Lewin and Original Penguin. All of BMI's stores are designed to global standards and present in prime high street, mall and department store locations, thereby completing a truly world class shopping experience.
